These Terms & Conditions apply to every tour package, hotel booking, vehicle rental, activity and other travel service booked with Embellish India Tour and Travels, 2nd Floor, Bansal Bhawan, Opposite IDBI Bank, The Mall Road, Solan – 173212, Himachal Pradesh ("we", "us", "our"), through travelwithembellish.in, by phone, email or WhatsApp. By making an enquiry, a booking or a payment you ("the traveller", "you") accept these terms.
1. Our services
We plan and arrange tour packages, hotel and homestay stays, sightseeing, vehicle rental with drivers, and adventure activities, mainly in Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Kashmir and other destinations in India. Hotels, transport and activities are provided by independent operators whom we select with care.
2. Quotes and prices
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Taxes such as GST are charged as applicable and shown in your quote.
- Packages marked "Price on Request" are quoted individually for your dates, group size and hotel category.
- A quote is valid for the period stated in it and depends on availability at the time of booking. Prices may change because of fuel prices, government taxes or peak-season surcharges until the booking is confirmed.
- Unless your quote says otherwise, prices do not include airfare or train fare, lunch, entry tickets, camera fees, permits, personal expenses, tips, travel insurance or anything not listed under "Included".
3. Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed only after we receive the advance stated in your quote and send you a written confirmation by email or WhatsApp.
- Unless agreed otherwise, the balance is payable before the trip starts, on the date given in your quote.
- Payments can be made online on our Pay Now page through a secure payment gateway (cards, UPI, net banking and wallets), or by bank transfer. Please quote your booking reference with every payment.
- If the balance is not received on time, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you, and the Cancellation & Refund Policy will apply.
4. Changes to your trip
Changes requested by you after confirmation depend on availability and may carry extra charges. Travel in the mountains depends on weather, landslides, snow, road closures, permits and government orders. If such conditions make part of the itinerary impossible, we will offer the closest possible alternative. Additional costs caused by these conditions (extra nights, alternative routes) are payable by the traveller; unused services in such cases are refunded only if the supplier refunds them to us.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations by you or by us, cancellation charges and refund timelines are set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Vehicle rental
- All vehicles are provided with a licensed driver. Driving hours are normally from morning until evening; night driving in the hills is avoided for safety.
- Tolls, parking, state entry taxes and driver allowances are charged as stated in your quote.
- The driver may refuse to drive on a road he considers unsafe. Air-conditioning may be switched off on steep climbs.
- Smoking, alcohol and illegal substances are not allowed in our vehicles. Damage caused by passengers will be charged.
7. Travellers' responsibilities
- Carry a valid government photo ID for every traveller, and any permits required for the route.
- High-altitude destinations such as Ladakh and Spiti need acclimatisation. Please consult a doctor before travelling if you have heart, lung or blood-pressure conditions, or are pregnant.
- Adventure activities (trekking, rafting, paragliding, skiing, camping) involve risk. Follow the instructions of guides and instructors; you take part at your own risk.
- Respect local customs, the environment and the rules of hotels and monasteries.
8. Our responsibility
We act as the organiser of your trip and are responsible for arranging the services we confirm. We are not liable for loss, injury, delay or extra cost caused by the acts of independent suppliers, natural events, accidents, strikes, political unrest, epidemics, government orders or other events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
9. Complaints
If something is not right during your trip, please tell us at once on 9817486759 so that we can fix it on the spot. Complaints after the trip should be sent in writing to vvbphealthcare@gmail.com within 15 days of your return.
10. Use of this website
Photos on this website show the destinations and are for illustration; actual hotels, rooms and vehicles may differ in appearance. Content on this website may not be copied without our permission.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
